The Shorthorn wrestling team is for both the beginner wrestler and the more experienced wrestler in grades 7 and 8. The program involves matches in the Chagrin Valley Conference as well as independent tournaments. This is a co-ed program and there are separate tournaments available for girls.

While we were a little smaller in numbers on Saturday at Oberlin I was pleased with our performance.
This Weds is our last CVC math-up event so no practice as Chris/Elijah compete at Fairview.
This weekend is also the CVC MS conference tournament (again for only Chris/Elijah).

Here's the schedule through the next two weeks:
- Mon (1/13) - Lifting 6-6:30pm, practice 6:30-8pm
- Tues (1/14) - Practice 5:30-7pm
- Weds (1/15) - CVC Conference Matches @Fairview HS
- Only Chris/Elijah will compete (have to go to school at LW)
- 4:15pm - Check-in and warm-up (if they need a ride let me know)
- 5pm - Wrestling begins
- ~7pm - wrestling concludes
- Thurs (1/16) - Lifting 6-6:30pm, practice 6:30-8pm
- Fri (1/17) - Practice 5:30-6:30pm
- Sat (1/18) - CVC MS Conference Tournament @Independence HS
- Only Chris/Elijah will compete (have to go to school at LW)
- 7:45am - Arrive at Independence
- 8-9am - Weigh-ins
- 10am - Wrestling Begins on 4 mats
- Sun (1/19) - NO PRACTICE (Minihorns @Vermilion at 2:45pm)
- Mon (1/20) - NO PRACTICE
- Tues (1/21) - Practice 5:30-7pm
- Weds (1/22) - Practice 5:30-7pm
- Thurs (1/23) - Lifting 6-6:30pm, practice 6:30-8pm
- Fri (1/24) - Practice 5:30-6:30pm
- Sat (1/25) - Practice TBD
- Sun (1/26) - NO PRACTICE (Minihorn All-stars @Westlake HS)
