The Minihorn wrestling team is for both the beginner wrestler and the more experienced wrestlers from K-6th grade. The program involves matches in the Buckeye Wrestling Association on Sundays as well as independent tournaments. This is a co-ed program and there are separate tournaments available for girls. During warm-ups we took up a mat and a half and looked like a little army. We continued to challenge the team moving a couple more up to varsity and still posting a 7-7 record with contested matches (also had a lot of forfeits with our better kids). All-stars have 2 more weeks left with us being at Vermilion this weekend and then the All-star tournament at Westlake the following weekend. For those that have been drifting back on forth with varsity the coaching staff will let you know next week if you will be wrestling int he All-star tournament on 1/26 or the sectional tournament on 2/2. At this point everyone should have a singlet. If you don't please let the coaching staff know and we'll assign you one. Reminder that singlets will be collected after your wrestlers last event.
